The Halifax Garden Network website contains a wealth of practical gardening advice, guides to community gardening organization and coordination,a map of community gardens and shared backyards in Halifax, a calendar of local gardening events, and a web forum. NSPIRG (our root organization) will be holding its annual general meeting on Tuesday, November 4th, from 7-8:30 PM. All are welcome to come enjoy free local food and learn about NSPIRG’s efforts to resolve local environmental and social justice issues. Dalhousie students are expecially encouraged to attend, as NSPIRG is funded by Dalhousie Student Union fees.
