thanks grainery

well, here’s another start to a new week. we just wanted to send a big shout out to the grainery for hosting a fantastic SLOF week and for inviting seemore green to be a part of the festivities!

we would also like to thank the folks who came out and helped to support our “seemore green bees” fund. we raised a little dough for the gals coming to joins us at the garden. come july, we’ll be welcoming the arrival of our very own honeybee colonies at seemore.

stay posted for the july schedule. we’ll have the dets on urbanbeekeeping 101 and other bee related workshops, the city root cellar workshop/discussion forum , and much more gardening!

can’t wait to see you out there.

hello y’all

alrighty, i wanted to introduce myself. i’m brenna. i’m the new garden coordinator and resident beekeeper working alongside jayme this summer. pleasure.

ok, now let’s jump right into the first big project for garden this month. tuesday the 17th from 5-7pm, come be apart of the Wooden Tapestry.  we’ll be weaving the story of our garden into a wattle work fence. we’re going to need some busy hands, curious minds, and an active imagination to get this project done so everyone is welcome to come out and join us. perhaps, this may even inspire your very own woven structures throughout  your space. feel free to harvest your own saplings, found alongside ditches and throughout old construction sites, to donate to the tapestry (be sure the wood is still green and supple).

ok see you there.
