I want to see Dalhousie University adopt an ethical, seasonal, local, organic food procurement policy.   Yale University has an amazing Sustainable Food Policy!  And a cute website.

On March 25 -27, Yale’s former head chef, John Turin, will  be a keynote speaker at the Dept of Agriculture’s  “Sell Local” conference aimed at getting local producers to sell to local markets.

Campus Action on Food (CAF) is a working group of NSPIRG that has begun work on getting Dal to adopt a similar policy.  If you want to help, email caf<at>nspirg.org.
